Having beaten Roger Federer in the longest Wimbledon final ever, World No1 Djokovic said he was going "back to being dad". The Serbian would be reuniting with wife Jelena and their two children, Stefan and Tara. And that could well be in the comfort of their new £5.3million pad high in the sky on the Miami beach front. Eighty Seven Park, the luxury development in Florida, is nestled in the middle of a 35-acre park.
The opulent home Djokovic describes as "perfect" for his family's lifestyle boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms. But the true selling point of the property is a panoramic 25-foot wrap-around balcony that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, bay, park and city. Floor to ceiling windows allow Djokovic and his family to enjoy the incredible view from inside as well as out. But should the 16-time Grand Slam champ get bored of this, there is plenty more available.
The development boasts two private swimming pools plus an exclusive underground spa.
That includes a 55-foot heated pool, along with a sauna, steam room, fitness centre and wet bar.
There is even a juice bar or, for those in the mood for celebrating another Wimbledon title, a wine bar and cellar.
They have exclusive keys to the park next door which has a private resident-only access point.
In a statement, Djokovic said: “I was inspired by the unmatched level of service, exclusive park access, in-house botanist, and panoramic views of both land and sea.
“It all provides the perfect lifestyle for me and my family.
"I simply love the design of this building. This is an unexpected location in a neighbourhood that's rapidly growing and that's what attracted me to buy here. It will be my new retreat."
Djokovic, who pocketed £2.35m for winning Wimbledon, is reported to be worth around £175m. The £5.3m Miami Beach home is one of a handful of properties in the Serb's portfolio. But at the Florida flat, Djokovic is on top of the world in more ways than one.
